What you can use to measure the flow of diesel fuel
If you need to measure the flow rate of Diesel Fuel, or to get an accumulative total of the amount of fuel used, the MacNaught Digital Diesel Meter is an affordable unit to do just that. The ADTFM shows the instantaneous rate-of-flow in Litres per Minute (LPM) and has a Resettable and Non-Resettable Totaliser. To Reset the Total, you simply press the front Reset Button.
The MacNaught ADTFM is a Battery Powered In-Line Flowmeter that is suitable for Diesel Fuel, Kerosene and Coolants. With a Flow Rate of between 10 to 150 LPM and 1” BSP Female Port Connections, these make for a great Flowmeter for use with a fuel nozzle or dispensing hose.
Handy features the unit can be programmed help in stock control to give are:
- Real Time Flow Rate Display
- View the last (5) volumes dispensed
- Check your available stock from an initial total to prevent fuel running out
- Low Level alert to warn you when your fuel amount is getting low
The ADTFM uses (2) x AAA 1.5V Alkaline batteries, which are easily replaced in the field. You will get a Battery Low icon on the screen when you battery is needing to be replaced.
The ADTFM come as standard from the factory calibrated with Diesel at 20 Deg.C. If you are Metering a different fluid, Calibration will be required. Excessive wear and even changes in temperature can influence the accuracy of flowmeters. So field calibration of the ADTFM is made easy using its simple push-button programming procedure. Sometimes it can be of benefit to periodically carry out a calibration on your meter to ensure it is still within your required accuracy expectations.
